And talking some smack.
With me on the Jazz Bass
And Bill on the drums
We sat onstage wondering
Would anyone come?
When all of a sudden
They came through the door
Some people in fish shirts
First one, then some more
They came dressed in bass
Some smelt and a tuna
Some sheepshead, a dolphin
A whale: A beluga!
Back in the corner
Was Henry and P
Other side of the room?
Good friend Jeff-er-y
The last time we saw
Friends Cassie and Chris
They just got engaged
And now look at this!
They are now married
Mom couldn't be prouder
They sat at the table
And ordered the chowder
Then came old Gary
With his monster trout
Now we know what ladies
Were laghing about
Later came Patty
The original Wench
And proceeded, with Karen,
To sit on a bench
We thought Flash was drunk
We made him drink soda
On the front of his fish shirt
Displayed Abe Vigoda
Then came the Seuss girls
Fish red, one and two
On the back of them all
Fish Absolute Blue
And Bill bought us green beers
As is the tradition
But we figured out that
He'd rather be fishin'
Can't forget Billy Rigg
He's fan number one
His fish shirt had sailfish
And flashed just for fun
Trish came on by
Dressed in her shell top
And handed out goodies
Till I made her stop
And just when we thought
We had played all our licks
Came Mikey from Iris
With two really hot chicks
Mike sat in playing songs
Some new and some old
Some I don't remember
The real truth be told
And when we played Rocky
We thought we were through
But our friends from Orlando
Had plans for Big Blue
We played something different
We played some Joan Jett
We finished, they clapped

But we weren't done yet
Then something happened
You won't believe this
But Absolute Blue
Finally fired up some Kiss
The band wants to thank
All those that came out
To our Fish Shirt Friday
To party about
And want to invite
You all back real soon
Cause you know we'll be playing
