Absolute Blue Culinizes

 

It’s hard to imagine, but there was a time when The Worst Band You’ll Ever Love struggled in the kitchen. I remember a time when Skip had forgotten the au gratin, Bill spent hours online looking for a cheese grader, Don went to a priest to get his cream pastorized, Kevin attended mass to pick up some balpsalmic and Tom had nothing else to do so he made boredelaise. Sure, we’ve made our share of culinary mistakes in the past but with our shared experiences our skills have really improved. At our regular Tuesday night recipe swap we wanted to add something to spice up our sauce, so we tried cooking with Sherry but she was really no help at all. I was thinking about trying Brandy because as we all know, she’s a fine girl, what a good wife she will be. And as you can see from the following, there’s a serious risk of bisque:

 

-Don perfected his sausage recipe to the point that he was at his best when he was at his wurst.

-Kevin created a special marinade just for mutton that he calls Lambbaste.

-Bill pleaded the fifth multiple times when patenting his line of juices from concentrate, making them officially reconstituted. 

-Skip developed a series of raw meat dishes and often refers to himself as the Tartarist Guitarist.

-Tom’s not sure what to serve with Leeks, depends.

 

This Friday we play Cape Canaveral Friday Fest, a family street party with food vendors, beer/wine and kids activities, on Taylor just off A1A, from 6 to 10…

 

Then Saturday it’s back to Mainstreet in Downtown Melbourne from 6 to 10…
