We at Absolute Blue, in an effort to explore yet another potential revenue stream look this time to the marginally legalized gambling so prevalent this time of year in a desperate attempt to offset some first quarter non-budgeted expense items, up to but not including personal dancer fees, full body massages (group rate) and legal fees incurred by highly contentious and minimally unfounded charges involving an overripe melon and a vaguely worded personal ad. We have learned from previous fruitless basketball picks and in a brilliant strategic move have decided this year to have each member create a uniquely structured bracket instead of relying solely on an uninformed but well-endowed waitress, virtually quintrupling our chance of that one big payout. After several rounds of deliberations, and beers, we have decided on the following:

Flash: Back in Blackit Bracket- Picks based primarily on AC/DC songs.

Don: Flackit Bracket - Picks based on the relative hotness of the coach's wife.

Kevin: Spastic Bracket - Picks based solely on Dick Vitale's advice.

Bill: Tactic Bracket - Picks based entirely on research and insight. Most likely to fail.

Tom: Tragic Bracket - Picks consisting of upsets, underdogs and wild assumptions. Guaranteed to break your heart.

In the meantime we will proceed with our usual frivolity this Friday night at Lou's Blues from 9:30 to 1:30...

Then it's a St Patrick's Night to remember at Squid Lips from 7 to 11 Saturday...
