This week, The Worst Band You'll Ever Love takes on the peculiar festivity called Cinco de Mayo, which mysteriously appears on our calendar right about this time every year. We decided to take advantage of our newly acquired language translation software and decoded the phrase to binary, converted it to assembler and loaded it into the compiler, then waited several days. The results: Cinco de Mayo translates to Stench of Marsupial in Klingon, which partially explains why we're booked that day each year. This begs the obvious question, why is a Klingon festival celebrated each earth year when we know the Klingon year is equivalent to 18.225 earth years? Using deductive reasoning, interpolational logic and the power of jaeger, the conclusion is clear. This celebrates the first time that Klingons visited our little blue planet, which certainly explains Easter Island, the Nazca Lines and possibly even Rush Limbaugh...
So there you have it. An interplanetary festival conveniently held on your own planet. Join us for a pre Cinco celebration Friday at The Old Fish House in Grant from 6 to 10...
