Absolute Blue's Tweet Success

We at the Absolute Blue Corporate headquarters have entered the world of Twitter (@AbsoluteBlueBnd) in an effort to benefit all mankind or make some quick cash. And until we figure out just what the hell to do with this application, we have developed a detailed, mostly pointless entry strategy designed to alert the world to the detailed and mostly pointless performances from The Worst Band You’ll Ever Love. And since our CIO has guaranteed us 1.2 million followers by the end of the day, each with a generous donation to the Corporate cause, come the weekend we will surely be quite wealthy. So we have at this time put a pedicurist on retainer as the limo awaits the weekend. Until then we have assigned responsibility to our implementation plan as follows:

Bill: Bitter Twitters: Angst ridden, Republican rantings served with a liberal dose of Nancy Pelosi.

Kevin: Indiscreet Tweets: Nuanced, often offensive thinly disguised innuendo.

Don: Main Street Tweets: Hit her? I never even touched her.

Tom: Obsolete tweets: In depth discussion regarding MySpace, proper beeper etiquette and Madonna.

Flash: Incomplete Tweets: Mostly incoherent rambling, many times cut short by a complete lack of

So stay tuned as we plan to Twitter our lives away, but rest assured we will always tweat you white...
 

We begin a big weekend with a Friday night performance at Squid Lips from 7 to 11...

Then Saturday it's a return to the big stage at the Grant Seafood Festival from 12:15 to 3:30...

And Sunday it's back to SBI from 2:30 to 6:30...

And if that's not enough, we will be participating in the benefit for Sue Colas at Lou's Blues Sunday. We'll be hitting the stage about 8 for a set so make sure that you come up for a great cause...
